Self-interest or self-preservation becomes so obligatory to survive in life that sometimes we don’t bother or even think before saying a lie. Hence, you are always advised on keeping everything clean and truthful because those who are near to you know the end result. They have treaded on this treacherous yet self-satisfying path. You cannot run away from the truth for so long, it’s exhausting and stressful having to keep up with the life made up on lies, if we could understand it.
Dishonest acts are shortcuts and little pleasures but they cannot satisfy your soul. We should always think to hold on to the truths in life, and only then we can have all the peace inside us. Very few understand that life built up on step above step is more strong and wholesome.
